Lisa & Noah ~ The Mountain Terrace Woodside, California ~ April 22, 2007

We all crossed our fingers for no rain and we all got our wish! Lisa and Noah’s ceremony was pure picturesque perfection! The arch being so beautiful covered in a wild blanket of branches with pink & white flowers almost outshine the amazing view of the peninsula behind it. The Mountain Terrace with its lush gardens and rustic decks provides the perfect setting for a small romantic wedding.

Napa Wedding - Daphnie & Zohar Marry at V. Sattui Winery!

On Saturday, April 7th we had the pleasure of coordinating Daphnie & Zohar’s wedding at one of our favorite venues, V. Sattui winery in St. Helena. The weather held (we were worried it might rain), but it was beautiful! As guests arrived they were treated to a refreshment bar of mango lemonade w/ cayenne pepper, lemonade or a cucumber infusion drink. Guests were then handed their program and a cone filled with red rose petals to toss after the ceremony. Lush Florals adorned the balcony of the courtyard where the ceremony was held with a beautiful swag of dahlias, red roses and greenery. The aisles were lined with tall candles & the courtyard walls were illuminated with votives. A string quartet serenaded the guests and the sweet service was followed by cocktail hour by the fountain.

After the cocktail hour, the guests were invited to the barrel room. The tables were covered in a chocolate brown pintuck linen, glass chargers and glassware provided by Wine Country Party Rentals. A brown napkin w/ the brown & red menu card & a single dark cymbidiam orchid was placed on each charger. The centerpieces were a small square vase filled with red roses and dahlias, with 2-3 tall glass vases with a floating candles. The Favors, a single chocolate truffle were cased in red box with the couples initials “D&Z” on them.

As the couple entered the room, they had their first dance to a song from the movie, Garden State, which they saw on their first date. Guests feasted on a spinach salad with beets, blackberries & goat cheese. After toasts, the guests had a dinner buffet provided by Elaine Bell Catering.
The wedding cake by Perfect Endings was a 3 tiered ivory fondant with rouge & brown flowers. It was delicious & beautiful! The evening ended with lots of dancing & wine provided by V. Sattui.

We had a great time and the family & friends of the couple were very nice & all seemed geniunely happy for them! We also met the WONDERFUL Geoff White & His wife, who photographed the event. They were so fun & nice and we are hoping to work with them in the future! The V. Sattui staff & the staff of Elaine Bell Catering were also great and we’ll be back to work with them again this summer! We are preferred vendors at V. Sattui, so we get a chance to work there alot!
